Taisan ala de Rosario is the classic Filipino chiffon cake. This is a heirloom recipe from my late aunt Rosario also known as Pating to many. My late aunt she also loved to cook and bake. I remember when I was quite young she would also make all these delightful desserts. I miss eating it but I know all is not lost as I still have memories of it to live by.
This Taisan once it's baked you can smell the aroma wafting throughout the house. Once smelled you know your in for a delightful treat. After it's baked let it cool down , then spread a soft butter and sprinkle sugar all around it. Mmm mmm good :)
